Best 3D Printed Gifts for Gamers in 2026

Gamers are easy to shop for in theory and hard in practice: they own the game, the headset and the gift card is boring. What they usually do not own is a physical object from the world they spend their evenings in. 3D printing makes exactly that, in the size and colour you choose. Here is what tends to land well in 2026, grouped by budget and by how much desk space the person has.

Figurines from the games they actually play

The obvious choice, and still the best one when done right. The difference from a mass-produced figure is that you pick the character, the pose and the scale.

• Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Bloodborne bosses at 15 to 25 cm in resin. Resin (a liquid photopolymer cured by UV light) captures chainmail, feathers and fur that filament printing smooths over.
• Warcraft and Diablo characters, from a desk-size Lich King to a full-height bust.
• Zelda, Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley for players who prefer the cosier side of gaming. These print well in FDM with a couple of colours and look great unpainted.
• A pair of matched figures for a couple who play together, on a shared base.

Wearable and oversized pieces

For the fan who already has a shelf full of figures, go bigger.

• A 1:1 helmet. Fantasy Lab 3D printed a full-size Arthas helmet from Warcraft in marble filament, sanded and finished so the layer lines disappear. It works as a display piece on a stand or as a cosplay item. The process is described in our Arthas helmet post.
• A weapon replica such as a dagger, an axe head or a keyblade at real scale, printed in parts and joined on a hidden rod.
• A large emblem or crest to hang above the monitor: a faction logo, a guild sigil, a game's title treatment in 3D letters.

Cheaper, faster, and used every single day.

• Controller and headset stands shaped like a character, a sword hilt or a plain geometric form.
• Cable combs and under-desk hooks for a tidier battlestation.
• A phone or Steam Deck dock with a cutout for the charging cable.

FDM is the standard process where a printer lays down melted plastic in layers; PLA is the plant-based plastic most decorative prints are made of. We do not publish flat prices because the cost depends on size, material and finish, so ask for a quote on one or two ideas rather than guessing.

Questions to answer before ordering

• Which game and which character? Names are enough; a screenshot is better.
• Painted or raw? Raw grey resin looks fine on a desk and costs less. Painted takes longer and is the "wow" version.
• How much space? Measure the shelf. A 25 cm figure with a base needs about 15 cm of depth.
• When is the date? Small items ship within days; painted figures and large props need a couple of weeks plus delivery.

One more honest note. Characters belong to their publishers, and a studio can only print models that are licensed for personal printing or supplied by you. Fantasy Lab 3D will say so up front if a file is not something we can take on.
